An iconic design, this light-weight traditional `Kasu malai' necklace is crafted by weaving silver coins into black thread. This is a reversible necklace which has a different design on both sides. On one side the coins carry the image of godess Laxmi (seated on a lotus) and display a single row of `kempu stones' ; on the other side we can see a beautiful parrot motif .The skill and craftsmanship exhibited in this piece are truly amazing. It comes with a pair of matching ear-studs.
Crafted using techniques used in South Indian antique jewellery in Sterling Silver (92.5) the necklace has been gold dipped. This piece is also available in the silver oxidised finish.
(Note: The necklace can be bought alone or along with the earrings, prices for both are different and both options given.)
